Description: COFA uses God’s great outdoors through hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and other activities, to promote the Gospel and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Not only does COFA have outdoor activities, but it also has weekly Bible studies, pastoral training seminars, and Bootcamp Training for church leaders.

Description: Cru is the name of Campus Crusade for Christ International in the U.S. Cru seeks to share the Gospel with local college students, to build up Christians in their faith, and to send them into the world to have an impact for Christ wherever they go.

Service Opportunities: Adopt a Campus: serve college students by feeding them, praying for them, doing ministry with them, or providing areas of professional expertise. Assist with the Denver student leader retreat by spending a weekend in the mountains serving students’ physical needs (cooking, cleaning, etc.). There are also opportunities to mentor/disciple student leaders and to speak in various forums.

Description: Mile High Ministries mobilizes people from all walks of life for God’s work renewing lives, relationships, and communities – through various initiatives including The Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic (JAMLAC). JAMLAC began in 2006 as a program of Mile High Ministries. It is a faith-based, non-profit law firm dedicated to serving people struggling with poverty and abuse by providing them with legal representation and holistic advocacy for civil and immigration matters.

Full-time attorneys, paralegals and volunteers manage approximately 50 active cases each week. Last year, JAMLAC provide bi-lingual direct service to over 800 clients who would otherwise have inadequate or no access to the legal justice system. 97% of who were victims of domestic abuse. We desire to pursue justice by increasing and improving legal aid services to the most vulnerable in our community.

Service Opportunities: Multiple opportunities for individuals and groups including Spruce-A-Room when a family moves out of transitional housing to prepare it for another family; provide and prepare a community dinner for the families; babysitting in the playrooms to give single mom’s a break; one-on-one tutoring for children and adults studying for their GED; handiwork and maintenance at facilities; Pro Bono work or volunteering in the office of JAMLAC.

Description: Street’s Hope is a faith-based, non-profit organization created to assist women desiring to leave sexually oriented businesses such as prostitution, escort services, exotic dancing, and pornography. Street’s Hope encourages each woman to become balanced (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually), to be self-supporting apart from the sex for sale industry, and to become an active part of a healthy community. A transitional housing facility along with non-resident programs offer recovery groups, counseling, education, life skills, case management, mentoring, shelter, food, and clothing.

Service Opportunities: Women volunteers are needed to mentor participants as well as assist mentors (training is provided and mentors can set their own level of participation). This includes teaching life skills classes or leading a Bible study. Volunteers, male or female, are also needed to help run the fundraising events, do home maintenance projects, grounds and vehicle maintenance, prepare meals for the House Dinners, and plan/host events and parties. Financial donations as well as donations of clothing, furniture, and bibles, prayer support and transportation help are also needed.
